Who doesn't love a vespa and wish they were Audrey Hepburn or Gregory Peck on a Roman holiday?This work can simply be fun, or more thought-provoking should the viewer take time to study the fragments of old maps, books and music posters that provide symbolism and a story beyond the sexy scooter.

Rachel-Lee Murray is a mixed media artist based in Newcastle. A former reporter/producer for Channel Nine and later a primary school teacher, she discovered her true passion for painting and photography in the early 2000's. Rachel's other passion is travelling and her work often incorporates places she has visited and urban culture. Many of her current works reflect her love of bicycles. Rachel also enjoys painting contemporary portraits of people and pets.
