Wanted

My surfie-chick, teenage daughter loves to ride this bike to the beach and to the local bakery. On the top RHS is a music poster stating "three outlaws came to town". I'm waiting for the day she brings back more than a sausage roll and a caramel slice... a boy.

The collage is taken from old maps and music posters I have scavenged from city streets and cafes.

Rachel-Lee Murray is a mixed media artist based in Newcastle. A former reporter/producer for Channel Nine and later a primary school teacher, she discovered her true passion for painting and photography in the early 2000's. Rachel's other passion is travelling and her work often incorporates places she has visited and urban culture. Many of her current works reflect her love of bicycles. Rachel also enjoys painting contemporary portraits of people and pets.
