Artwork Description

'Waratah' is an Aboriginal word meaning 'beautiful' and this huge crimson flower is arguably the most spectacular plant in the Australian bush. Featuring my favourite magenta and rose tones, this work reflects my fascination with the form of the waratah and pays homage to the timeless botanical prints of Margaret Preston.

This print is also available in other sizes and as a canvas print. Please contact me via bluethumb for details.

The work has been painted on a high quality wooden board with thick and sturdy wooden stretcher.
