It’s about how things don’t stay the same and nor does the ocean. Change is good. It understands that we need to move and shift. Ephemerality has also been a big part of my work. Nothing stops for the tide.

I am an abstract artist based in Brisbane, Australia. My recent works channel feelings and emotions evoked by my experience of natural landscapes. Through the processes of layering paint, experimenting with composition, mark-making and palette, I seek to express an ephemeral sense of balance, depth and luminosity. My paintings are moody and sensorial, imbued with ideas of transience and renewal. Essentially, I create emotive works with broad interpretive scope that invite people to reflect.
