Linen
Signed on the back.
While experimenting and exploring with materials used in craft, I began using wool instead of paint on the linen surface. The result is the textured surface which resembles brush strokes and paint from a distance. The work is made by sewing a series of tight stitches on to the surface, then cutting down the middle of each completed row, which forms thick colorful strips of carpet. This work reflects my love of rich textured surfaces and bright, bold colours.: a cheerful and bold addition to any room!
