The Floral Ball

This artwork was inspired by my mother’s garden full of flowers swaying that reminded me of dancing - my mother adores her garden and takes pride in her garden she is 87 and I have learnt so much from her when it comes to flowers and gardening and this is why I have painted this ballroom of flowers dancing. The bird is a reminder of my grandfather who taught me how to draw this bird. He is my mother’s father his name is Reuben. This is made for a room full of happiness and will bring joy.

Always having a passion for creativity and artwork, I decided it was now or never to start a career during Covid lockdown. My work varies from portraits to colourful, expressive contempory art. I am inspired by beautiful faces of the world young and old and colourful gardens surrounding me. I have a love for classical music and instruments especially violin and cello.
