Truck art is a vibrant form of artistic expression in Pakistan. As the name suggests, this unique style is displayed on trucks, buses, and rickshaws. Most of the drivers who own these vehicles come from rural areas, and they proudly carry their roots with them by turning their trucks into moving canvases. The motifs, birds, and landscapes they paint often reflect the flora, fauna, and mountains of their own villages. In this way, a truck becomes more than just transport—it becomes a storyteller of home.
Here in Melbourne, I’ve adopted this tradition as my own way of representing Australia to my friends and family back home.
