Artwork Description

The morning mist at sea created this magical lighting at Stumpy's Bay, Mt William National Park. This region is part of the Bay of Fires, one of the many sacred places where Aboriginal gatherings once took place in Tasmania. Now, known for its pristine white-sand beaches.

Limited Edition Fine Art Print.

All prints are on Fine Art Cotton Rag which provides the aesthetic feel of the original darkroom paper.

Printed at a highly regarded photographic lab using longevity inks and the artwork is sent out within a few days.

Artist Bio

I'm a landscape photographer from England residing on the beautiful island of Tasmania. I combine both my love for travel and photography to capture everyday treasured moments in nature.

I studied photography and developing prints in the darkroom in 2002. Although I am a digital photographer, I still try to keep a bit of the aesthetic feel from my darkroom days, especially coming through in my black-and-white imagery.

Most of my work has been on capturing timeless Tasmanian seascapes and their vast beauty, taking the viewer on a meditative journey, experiencing the calmness you feel at sea.

They will invite an ambient presence to any room.

Please enjoy viewing my photography.
