I think of my paintings as a walk through the life stages, page by page, evoking all the senses, looking, listening, touching and smelling. They are the sounds of the cities and towns we all live in and the light of the streets which question our making of the world. I like to capture the life within each of my subjects, their thoughts and intentions whilst allowing the viewers into their world to share in the experience of their special moment.
Walking around the towns around the world, from Europe, Asia, America and Australia, I often find myself fascinated by the people, the way they live, grow, love and feel. There is a lot to understand from the diversity of people and their place to the common denominator that defines us all. My art is about capturing those moments.
I invite the viewer to move into this space of wonder as you walk through my paintings to observe the happiness that can be found into corners of our environment and bringing this into their life.
