I wanted to create a series of paintings that evoked a sense of nostalgia. Objects that reminded us of better times and home. Having said that, we can't ignore what is going on in the world today. Look closely and you will see that I have modified the classic Pyrex measuring jug to include a powerful message of today's fight for equality. 'Liquidity' is beautiful painting that takes on the subject of Income inequality, and how it relates to gender and race. This painting will encourage examination and spark some interesting conversations.
