YARRALGAR is part of an ongoing series exploring a continuous line playing with the shapes and textures found in nature. The contours of the fallen tree bark and its markings set a playing field for the line work that's not linear or square. I love the way the pink line works with the colour of the bark – which was found on a trip to visit family in the countryside. Framed by a darker skin layer of bark, the line works its way around the lighter layer in a 'Y' shape.
