I can feel the tropical heat in these 2 paintings, the humidity and tropical wet that you get in the in the north of Australia, the oppressiveness of the humidity is the catalyst for growing these glorious flowers and exciting foliage. These feature, bird of paradise, heliconias and hanging crabs claw flowers with tropical leaves.

I feel there will be more to come of these bright glorious beauties, stay tuned.

I love colour......the brighter the better. My art is influenced by my beautiful surroundings of the far north coast of NSW. I live on the small peninsula of Fingal Head and I enjoy its natural beauty, lushness and glorious beaches. Painting is relatively new to me but I have had the privilege of having my own business creating beautiful things for the wedding industry all my life, you name it, I have made it!

I have a new love for acrylics and mixed media with a little dabble in watercolours! I am self taught with a lot of help from YouTube and some wonderful online teachers. My love of flowers goes back to my childhood and being mesmerised by a tiny florist on the main street shopping centre where I grew up, I would have only been 5 or 6 years old. My family owned a florist shop when I left school and my love of flowers and the wedding industry grew from there. I feel very privileged to have spent my working career creating beautiful things and now my creativity is reenergised in my paintings.
