In the jungle we understand no man is more important or consequential than the trees and the elements that sustain us as they sustain the brilliant biodiversity of this planet.A stretched canvas on the easel placed along side this exact scene of winter rapids in the Lachlan Creek.Two albatross are just two of many who roam the southern ocean. The albatross has a tremendous nose and can smell a meal from kilometres away, then they arrive at the source in numbers. This is my imaginary view of the open ocean where these birds live. and that one bird has eaten and the other arrives to what is left. They are perfectly adapted to this lifestyle. The wind is most obvious as the Shy Albatross slices through the air compressed by the rising waves contrasting with the appearance of a the sail suggesting a man made event just out of sight by adopting the same energy as the big bird. Aesthetically the shape of the bird contrasts with the open seascape as the sail repeats and also the wave repeating the wings of the bird caught by the wind,
