Artwork Description

Outback Australian scene with angler and an emu. I lived in the outback of South Australia in the 1960s when dad was police sergeant at Woomera, so wild life was abundant both human and fauna.

Artist Bio

I draw portraits in pastel, seascapes, landscapes, wildlife in acrylics on canvas or wooden boards, non representation acrylics on canvas and gained 2nd prize at the Redcliffe 2019 Show for my nonrepresentational piece in acrylics judge mentioned it was a nice juxtaposition of geometrical patterns, it is titled Facets. I an inspired by volunteer work in a number of areas including homelessness and third world issues, I like to donate some of my artwork to help in their fund raising ventures.
