Kunama Namadgi - mountains are the heartbeat of country. The peaks rise to greet the clouds and the snow falls to meet the mountains. The mountains rise and fall with its peaks and troughs, just like a heartbeat. The mountains are moody and shiny, as are we, with the snow glistening down the mountains into the sharp crevices. I have used a palette knife to create the sharp edges and slopes which gives a modernistic abstract effect. The painting has varnish over the mountain slopes to bring out the shine and glimmer of the snow
