Artist Bio

Bec Davidson Art
Fresh, eclectic art- inspired by nature and colour.

Hi my name is Bec, I am Sydney based artist.

From a young age I have had a passion for drawing, painting and creating and grew up in a family filled with artists, creatives, animals and bush walks.

I am a nurse and mother of 2 young children.
I rediscovered my love of drawing and painting as a way of coping with the stress and anxiety associated with working as a Nurse (especially during the beginning of Covid) and raising a young family.
Once I reignited my passion for painting I haven’t been able to stop, I find it fulfilling and calming. I spend most evenings (once the kids have gone to bed) sitting in front of my easel.

Apart from studying art at school I am self taught.
My inspiration comes from my love of nature and colour. Much of my art focuses on birds, I enjoy capturing their free spirit, colourful feathers and quirky personalities.
I am currently enjoying exploring my version of still life art - with a success cocktail series, which captures my love of Colour, birds, flowers, vintage crystal wear and fruit.

I hope my paintings will bring colour and happiness to the walls of many homes.

I gladly accept commissions, so please contact me for further details.
