Artwork Description

In a world of uncertainty, more and more people are having their lives and families’ torn from them.
This work quietly speaks of the worldwide atrocities and the effects on human lives.
Rebecca has used the embryotic glass form to represent the innocence and fragility of life. She has incorporated rocks and stones, found objects such as images and fabric found in the family home.
The embriotic form rests delicately on this mound of rubble exposed to the outside elements, no longer having the security we all seek in life.
