Her 43 by Rebecca (Wingsze) Lam - I create art as a deeply personal form of self-expression, using textures to infuse movement into my pieces. This process is physically demanding yet therapeutic. Colors, to me, serve as a means to convey the mood I aim to create, whether it mirrors my present emotions or the emotions I aspire to feel. I believe art plays a crucial role in defining the atmosphere of a space. My choice of predominantly depicting women stems from my identity and familiarity with the female form, as I find people and their stories the most captivating subjects. I opt for single-line drawings to achieve minimalistic flow, believing that beauty lies in simplicity. While I don't have specific goals or profound messages, my art serves as a snapshot of my journey, capturing emotions and moments to elevate and beautify the space it occupies.
Although this is a single piece
it was created as a collection to go together with each other with every panel standing at the same height (101.6cm)
The painting can be bought as a single panel or combined as a polyptych (in pairs, triple, etc).
