Artwork Description

I wanted this painting to have a wild and windy feel to it. I have used a beige hue mixed in with every color, to tone down the colour without changing it altogether. It creates a more even tone between colours, and a certain softness. I have created movement in this painting, which is a trademark of mine, by using lots of fluffy white and whispy clouds.
I have painted with acrylic paint, and it is double glazed, in a matt - semi-gloss finish. I have used a high quality canvas.

Artist Bio

Hi I’m Rebekah, and I am an abstract, landscape artist. Botanical art is also a subject I love to paint. I am an artist that likes to use Acrylic paint and I finish each piece off with a matte-semi gloss glaze. It gives each piece of artwork a very beautiful sheen and brings out the colours strongly. In every palette of hues I use for my artwork, I always add a beige hue, to every colour. It tones down each colour and has an overall softer effect. Although white I love to use as just white. White is an important part of my art pieces.
My pieces are painted to become an absolute feature for someone’s home or private living space. They can become a conversation piece or give a relaxing and calm effect to those who enjoy a softer feel of an abstract landscape. Using softer shades can also be perfect for a young childs room, still playful but calming.
