Charlie is a portrait of a beautiful Macaw over an abstract backdrop. His pose and expression is a reflection of his quirky nature. Charlie is a member of a mobile zoo and he has visited many events in my local town. He loves a good chat and is very easy to get up close to. My aim in producing this artwork was to capture Charlie's features and contrast him with a backdrop that accentuates his personality.
