Producing zentangle work appeals to me because it helps me escape and feel relaxed and at ease. This is what I hope the viewer takes away from observing this large scale artwork. It has been a time consuming process to complete but the intricacy that results makes it very satisfying and well worth the effort. I am particularly intrigued with the addition of the black areas that lead the viewers eye across the work further increasing its aesthetic appeal.
