At 2am I once started an abstract which looked a bit like two lorikeets at night time. I was planning to go over it, until I sat down and realised that I could make a starry night with two lorikeets. However after realising that an ordinary night sky wasn't going to work, i decided to make a tribute to Van Gogh's Starry Night instead.
