Streetlight

One summer night I could see a storm rolling in. The streetlight near my fence was on and glowing orange as if it was on fire - the simplicity of the photo which only features a streetlight, roof, fence and clouds inspired me to paint it.
The clouds reminded me of Monet's artworks - which is why they are left looking almost untouched with raw paint strokes.

Besides painting in my studio I also paint outside at weddings and charity events where I paint the scene in front of me for the bride/groom/recipient. My paintings can be found overseas in countries such as Chile, Canada, US and the UK. I think what I enjoy most about my art is I paint what I want. I've been experimenting with styles for years and really enjoy having a diverse collection of work.
Paintings are packaged in tissue paper, bubble wrap, recycled cardboard boxes and brown paper.
