Reg is a keen observer of nature and self-taught artist. He paints in acrylics, watercolour but also explores digital art. His passion is the wild places, particularly of Tasmania. He loves to highlight the beautiful and striking coastal, mountain and forest scenes - to make them accessible to all.
His art comes from a background of decades as a marine biologist. He feels a strong emotional connection to his subjects. Through his art he strives to introduce the beauty of Australia's scenic wonders to everyone.
He wants to transport you to these wonderful places. His favourite subjects include Australia’s natural treasures including the Bay of Fires, the Twelve Apostles and Cradle Mountain National park. From the glorious red rocks to the misty forests – he wants to paint it all – so you can see it, feel it, and it can become part of your home and your life.
