Artwork Description

This collection was the genesis of a foray into patterned fabric underlays in REK's work. An array of colourful botanicals are the backdrop to his deconstructed native bird series which heavily featured the iconic Australian magpie. This inquisitive individual's image was captured in the leafy areas of south Brisbane. A charming local returning every year and serenading passers by with his glorious warbling song.

These limited production prints are stretched poly cotton canvas, non-toxic, water and fade resistant, with an archival period of more than 80 years - The Canvas wraps around the exterior creating a continuous finish, The artwork can be purchased framed in Black Matt float frame for and additional $170 on request.
The artwork is ready to hang and signed on the front
