Lion Cat is a playful contemporary painting about confidence, imagination and the way we sometimes see ourselves as something bigger than we appear.
A sleek black cat sits quietly beside a glowing yellow wall, while its oversized shadow takes on the powerful shape of a lion. The contrast between the small figure and the dramatic silhouette creates a sense of humour, strength and quiet self-belief.
Painted in deep charcoal, violet and blue tones against warm golden light, Lion Cat celebrates that little spark of courage that can make even the smallest of us feel mighty.
