Artwork Description

Shadow Cat was inspired by those quiet moments when a cat appears half-hidden in a doorway, simply observing the world around them.

I loved the contrast between the cat emerging from the darker edge of the composition and the soft window light falling across the wall behind her. Her bright green eyes become the focal point, surrounded by layers of teal, blue, plum and dusty pink that give the piece a slightly moody, atmospheric feel.
