Muru can mean the Waters path or My path your own path . ( Yuin dialect Cadi Gadigal Dharug )

This Artwork has the curves and movement representing Water . Powerful Changing Direction, Transforming over time , Cleansing Sustaining me as a Saltwater Woman, as it did my Ancestors and all those who live now on Saltwater Countries .

Artist Bio

Renee is a proud Cadi Gadigal Woman Born in the mid '70's on Country, inner City Sydney .

Having Painted for years privately as a part of her own healing and wellbeing , Renee has focused on her Art practice fulltime as an emerging Artist since 2021/22.

Her style as a Contemporary Aboriginal Artist is one reflecting her Saltwater connection, love of Country .and Nature. She also explores Abstract Landscape through Curves and Markmaking. Line Dot Hands.

Renee is a registered Member of the Indigenous Art Code , Australia .
