Hi, Thanks for checking out my art! I’m Renee. I grew up in country NSW and now live in Brisbane QLD with my husband and three children.
I have always had a love of art and fashion. I was a Fashion Designer for well over a decade. My career in Fashion has fostered a deep love of colour and bold print which led the way for experimentation and exploration in painting.
I love to combine colour and texture in my paintings to express a type of freedom and evoke a feeling of fun and joy. I draw inspiration from the everyday. A moment in time, captured on the canvas, that lasts forever.
I’m drawn to oil paint as a medium. I love the textured quality and vibrancy of colour that oils can provide. My style is sometimes representational, while other times more abstract.
