Artwork Description

Paris After Rain is an atmospheric cityscape painting inspired by a rainy day in Paris. The Eiffel Tower stands softly in the distance, surrounded by tall buildings, bare white trees, wet reflective streets, and silhouetted figures walking beneath colourful umbrellas. The artwork uses a mainly grey, black, and white palette, with striking touches of red, orange, and blue to create warmth, movement, and visual contrast.
The expressive brushstrokes and textured surface give the painting a modern impressionist feel, while the reflections on the rain-soaked street add depth and emotion. The figures appear quiet and contemplative, capturing the beauty of everyday moments in a romantic urban setting.
Painted on a 20 x 24 inch stretched canvas — approximately 60 cm high x 50 cm wide x 1.5 cm deep — this unframed artwork would suit a living room, hallway, bedroom, office, or any space needing a sophisticated Parisian focal point. It is ideal for collectors who enjoy cityscapes, travel-inspired art, rainy street scenes, and elegant contemporary interiors.
