Ria Rushin Joseph invites viewers into a world of beauteous verisimilitude—where even a simple line holds hidden meaning. Her paintings celebrate the poetry of simplicity: images that feel instantly convincing yet unfold into layers of abstract emotion and quiet reflection. Within the flood of visual impressions that surround modern life, Ria’s work stands apart through its unique balance of abstraction and reality—so vivid that it seems to transcend the real, forming a heightened world of its own.
Dr Ria Rushin Joseph is currently a Lecturer in Emerging Technology and Quantum Computing at Deakin University’s School of Information Technology (Faculty of Science, Engineering & Built Environment) in Melbourne, Australia. Alongside her academic career, she continues to pursue her passion for abstract art, exploring the intersection between science and creativity through her acrylic paintings.
