Ric was born in London and studied Art and Design through Southampton University. He taught art in Australia for many years at both secondary and primary levels. Ric always painted, but the busy world of work and family meant he only painted sporadically. In 2019 he decided to take it up seriously and tries to paint daily.
His love of the natural world, of colour and of light are echoed in his works. Ric works in acrylic paints and lives in The Gap, Queensland,
