Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.
Signed on the back.
This is the tenth βXβ Iβve painted. (The first one emerged somewhat out of frustration and βcancellingβ of what was already happening on an existing canvas.) I enjoy the simplicity of the X, and either as a single standalone or stacked in rows, it provides a grid in which I can explore the interplay of colour, contrast, texture and edges (soft and hard). I try to make each one a different romp (and not merely a colour change-out).
