I was lucky enough to be born into a world of arts as I grew up in a household surrounded by colours n canvas n tapestries n threads n patterns , as my mum n grandma ( both gifted artists) created one beautiful creations after the other.
Unfortunately societal pressures of pursuing more “sensible career choices” saw me globetrotting n chasing a career in technology , finance & risk . 4 countries, 10 cities and 2 kids later I found the courage to pick my brushes again and haven’t stopped since.
While I still work full time in a very high demanding role I am forever looking to steal time to indulge in my passion of art.
My preferred mediums include oil, watercolors , sketching , embroidery n macrame , it’s when I am painting a portrait using oils that I am in my transcendental meditative state .
I am self taught and always looking for opportunities to improve and learn. My art journey has just started and I have proverbial miles to go before I rest .
