Mr. Richard Gao was born in Shanghai China. He studied Medicine in his tertiary education there. He migrated Australia 1988 and studied Fine Art in RMIT.

He has had many solo art exhibitions in Melbourne and Taiwan. He joints the art groups in Melbourne and had exhibitions in Japan, UK, Shanghai China and Russia. He received several awards and prices in his carrier. His many artworks were collected privately by companies.
