Inspired by a series of photographs I took around Station Pier Melbourne. The eerie AI robotic cranes are replacing human wharfies and changing our societies interface with shipping and freight. Storm clouds approach signifying major change. A mother and child are obliviously playing on the beach, insignificant in the impending momentous change happening to our society. I used simplified geometric forms and flat areas of color to emphasize the detachment of the human experience from the cold potential future reality.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I am a multidisciplinary artist. I create a lot of digital art using primarily Procreate, Blender and Photoshop. My digital art is professionally printed (Limited editions) using the Giclee method and is archival in quality. I convert some of my digital artworks into etchings via the photopolymer method. I also reconfigure my digital work into acrylic paintings. Currently I am working on some sculptural interpretations of my 2D work. I am a member and councilor of the Victorian Artist's Society and a member of the Brighton Art Society, Firestation Print Studio and MAVA. I run presentations on Procreate, and workshops on mixed media and Procreate.
