Late arvo shadows creep out onto the beach as the sun drops on another primo Gold Coast day.

The Gold Coast's lifeguard towers run across 52km of coastline, from Coolangatta in the south to Tower 42, the northernmost Tower across the road from Sea World on the Spit.
