The young women are travelling around the country near Kaltukarjara (Docker River) with the older ladies. They are learning many things about where to collect special grasses and flowers and other types of bush tucker.

Rita is the grandaughter of esteemed artist Mrs. E. Giles. Her mother was also a skilled painter. She has recently started painting at Kaltukatjara Art Centre. She was born in Alice Springs, and grew up between Tjukurla, Kaltukatjara and Mutijulu.
