Artist Statement
Someone once stated, โArt is the reflection of the artistโs soul โ painting oneโs innermost thoughts and feelings.โ I deeply resonate with this sentiment, believing that artworks should speak for themselves, without the need for added explanations or motives. My creative process is intuitive and spontaneous, guided by the spirit of the moment.
I embrace an eclectic mix of styles and techniques, relishing the freedom to experiment. My subjects are diverse: from idyllic landscapes and seascapes where light and shade play harmoniously, to the dramatic, turbulent forces of nature depicted in trees and skies. I also delve into portraits, still lifes, abstracts, and expressionistic doodles, each piece an exploration of different facets of life and emotion.
My choice of mediums is as varied as my subjects. I work with acrylics and oils on stretched canvas and wood board, and I enjoy the tactile experience of charcoal, pencil, ballpoint pen, and crayon pencils on paper. Each medium offers a unique way to express the nuances of my thoughts and feelings.
Ultimately, my goal is to create art that connects with viewers on a deep, emotional level, allowing them to find their own meanings and reflections within my work.
