Artwork Description

25cm x 25cm, charcoal on paper, mounted to timber cradle.

The Close to Home series was intended to showcase the little moments of natural beauty occurring in Australian backyards and parks that bring joy to the artist. Australia is home to a wonderful variety of native flora and fauna, including interesting and uniquely evolved plants such as the banksia. The shape and texture of the banksia seed pods are unmistakable and lend themselves so beautifully to be depicted in the earthy tones of charcoal.

This piece is part of a series that is equally as well displayed individually as side-by-side.

Hand drawn with compressed and willow charcoal on 220gsm paper stock. The artwork is mounted to timber cradle and ready to hang.

**Please Note- This listing is the original charcoal drawing, yet prints are scheduled to be released in due course.
