Artwork Description

This piece depicts a typical scene on Bondi beach's promenade. The subject, a young man and woman crossing the locally famous road crossing at North Bondi in front of the RSL. The piece depicts the worn and unique texture of the crossing, championing its pastel red/pink colouring.
The man and woman are heading toward the beach, as evident by the typical Country Road tote bag and thong footwear. Both figures are portrayed in a casual and relatable pose, adding to the reality of the piece. This work shows Ro's continued fascination with the beauty of everyday moments and the interaction between regular people and their environments.
Perfectly partnered with the sister-piece 'Bondi Rider' who's complimentary colour and composition speak beautifully with that of this piece.
