Artist Statement: This work is about those beautiful blue days that make life worth living. Even when I am feeling miserable I can think of days I have had that were peaceful and blue and know those days will come again.

This work is sealed with a Conservationist Gloss Varnish which means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth which will preserve its life. It is is painted on Fine Belgian Linen which provides a beautiful finish for the paint and is longer last so gives the painting posterity for many hundreds of years . The work is sold Stretched ready to hang or add an exterior frame. I have tried to give examples of exterior frames in the images.
This work is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides).
With framing I suggest choosing a frame that matches your furniture. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of black or white trim near the painting choose a black or white frame. it is rarely a painting that won't match your home but often the exterior frame. I would never recommend a black or white frame if you don't have a lot of black or white in your home near where the painting will hang - if in doubt normally a soft neutral timber is going to look better.
