Artist Statement: This painting is about the moments when we feel tall, when we have been affirmed and loved and are full of joy. Not all times are like this but its good to remember the times that are.

This work is oil and acrylic on 105cm X 200cm on Fine Belgian Linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity.
The work is sealed with a Conservationist Gloss Varnish. The conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust with a damp cloth which will preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn't crack or yellow with light and age. The work is painted on Fine Belgian Linen. Linen provides a wonderful surface for the paint and is long lasting so gives the painting posterity for many hundreds of years.
The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price) in a roll ready for stretching and or framing. It is much safer for work to travel in a roll. Framers prices and quality of work vary greatly so you may choose to shop around framers near you for a stretching price.

The work is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). Personally I hang all large work in my home without an exterior frame as I feel it allows the painting to continue beyond its borders.

If you decide to add an exterior frame and they can look lovely I suggest choosing a frame that matches your furniture. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of black trim choose a black frame.

Note on framers: Framers prices and quality of work caries greatly. You may wish to get a local quote for stretching and or framing. If you want to hang the painting as is (stretched but not framed) you will only need its size to get a stretching quote. If you want an exterior frame you are needing stretching and framing and will need to choose the frame you want used.
