Artwork Description
The ship’s telegraph, EOT, or Chadbum, is a communication device used to relay orders from the bridge to the engine room. The lever is pulled to the selected command, moving the pointer to indicate the bridge’s instruction. The engineers in the engine room acknowledge the order, in turn moving the pointer on the bridge telegraph to that instruction.
It is important to me that my work remarks on the human condition. In this stressful, high-paced life, one’s health can start deteriorating when a worrying mind takes over. Sometimes we need a visual reminder to stop. Stop worrying, stop the overactive mind, and rest.
