Blue Space

The first of my paintings of planets that didn't have black as the colour of the space behind the planet. I had always used black, since that is the true colour of space, but when I saw a piece created by someone else with 'Blue Space' I realised that the colouring was much better at capturing the majesty of space, and began experimentation with colour in my planet paintings.

This piece, then, is a landmark for myself as an artist, and if ever I were to become well known, the value of it would surely rise. Or I become wealthy enough that I no-longer feel the need to sell this one, since it is one of my best.

I have a hard time organising myself. I've bought a lot of canvases, and don't keep all of them in the house with me, so some of the canvas sizes are a bit of an 'educated guess', but I'm happy to confirm any sizes before sale. (If this website facilitates a way for you to contact me?)
