Bali Morning

The inspiration for this work came during a recent stay in a Balinese village called 'Lodtunduh' . In the beautiful early morning light a Balinese girl passed our villa carrying a load of pandanus from a nearby paddy field.

I began painting by taking a course with Geoffrey Smith at the Victorian Artists Society in 2013. I have since attended a number of classes and submitted and had my works accepted for display in numerous exhibitions held at VAS since then. I work is mostly in oil, though I recently started using acrylics. My style is mainly realist with an emphasis on portraits and landscapes.
