Storm Over Rapeseed

I was inspired whilst driving from Melbourne to Shepparton and witnessed a glorious scene of an incoming storm with dramatic dark rolling skies over a bright yellow field of rapeseed. I took a photo and wanted to paint it straight away. I love drama in art. This painting draws you in to explore the clouds and the darkness of a storm. To enhance the dramatic effect, I had the painting framed with black brushed wood.
