Artwork Description

Art is a form of self-expression. My modified version of the Mona Lisa represents a unique perspective, of my emotions and experience. Now includes a nice new suitable frame.

Artist Bio

Robert G. Moller Pure is a self-taught artist born in 1952, in Sydney, Australia. He spend many years in Germany due to Family circumstances and returned back to Australia in 1986. Initially, he pursued a career as a self-employed house painter, painting occasional murals, and extended to Theme Fabrication, creating sculptures for Movie World and other local Theme Parks on the Gold Coast as they were in fashion. His journey into the world of fine art began in 1992 when he created his first oil painting.

Seeking to refine his skills, Robert sought mentorship from established artists of the time, including Peter Abraham in the Queensland Royal Art Society and Jean (John)Sindelar. Recognising the importance of practice, he dedicated himself to mastering painting in both oil and acrylic mediums. His artistic repertoire spans from landscapes to portraits. His ability to replicate any master is showcasing his versatility and enthusiasm for exploring various artists and subjects.

While initially balancing his artistic pursuits from painting houses, Robert has since transitioned to painting art full-time, driven by the rise of online art sales and passion. His recent works exhibit a captivating dynamism, often imbued with compelling narratives or themes. Collectors have come to recognise the value of his paintings as investments, as they consistently appreciate in value over time. Acquiring his paintings is not only an aesthetic pleasure but also a wise financial decision.
