I have always been impressed at how artists could bring such drama‚ reality and influence to the world with just paint and canvas. My goals are always to capture the moment or mood in a way that others will appreciate. I like to paint things that have had a chunk taken out of them through hard work, time or weather so my paintings rarely depict the "new".
I enjoy the works of Frans Hals‚ as well as the modern masters such as John Seerey-Lester‚ Salvador Dali, Banksy and lately Tjalf Spaarnay and Luigi Benedicenti who are hyperrealist artists.
Every painting that I start I promise myself to make it a learning experience and so satisfy my own needs to grow and hopefully that of people who enjoy my art enough to continue collecting it.
My work can be found in collections in Australia and worldwide.
