Still life is a seductive project, both for the artist and viewer, as we feed emotion and motivation into the static arrangement. I lived and loved in the era of the chocolate and orange coffeepot, so it has special memories for me. Others may love its retro appeal. The objects lift my spirits, as they reflect each others' and the shelf's surfaces.
